I think the one thing that scares me more than anything else (other than something happening to my children of course) is extreme conservatives.  It seems like the upcoming presidential race has so many extreme conservatives and I worry what it will to do our country if any of them get elected?  I'm certain they would try to get Roe vs. Wade overturned.  And what about all their racism, sexism, anti-other religions (or no religion), gays, etc.  The list goes on and on.  These so-called christians are so bigoted and WASPy I feel it will set us back 50 years and we'll have women only allowed in the kitchen and interracial marriage illegal again.  It may seem extreme but I can totally see it happening.

On a completely different note, I'm getting worried about my stress levels.  We have something going on every day/night this week through Sunday.  Thankfully I took Monday off but when we get this busy I generally tend to get really overwhelmed and that can lead to bad things.  I've been trying to just take it one day at a time and not stress out about what all I have to do tomorrow and then next day.  So far it seems to be working pretty good.  Let's hope it keeps up as it's been 2 years almost to the date that I had my shutdown and hospital stay.
