No Luck

No luck remembering to lift weights last night. I did go for a bike ride with Izzy though! We went twice around Bluff park. I also made an appointment to see Dr. Gerndt on the 22nd. I've been melancholy lately and am wondering if my meds need to be tweaked?

Did pretty good eating yesterday. Cherries for breakfast, frozen dinner for lunch, 1 egg salad sandwich for supper and a few (very few) oyster crackers for snack. Oh, Jeff made fried ice cream so I had 1 of those too. Ok, so it wasn't a great eating day but it wasn't bad either.

Feeling down.

I didn't get around to lifting weights last night. Gabby had softball practice and was quite moody when she was done. I swear, I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the next 8 years! Not to mention that Izzy will be getting this way soon too. Yikes. What on Earth are people thinking when they procreate?!?

I'm feeling quite sluggish today and it will be hard to force myself to walk. Though I'm sure it would do me good. I'm helping out on a photo shoot so at least I'll be able to get out of the office for a bit. Plus Sarah cracks me up.

I've got to start cleaning the house up tonight. I can't believe what pigs we are. My mother must be so ashamed. My goal is the kitchen tonight.

All for now.

I did it!

Yeah! I walked again this afternoon. Hopefully exercising will help me sleep at night.

Weight

Ok, I'm back on the weightloss wagon. My starting weight was 175 and I'm at 160 as of this morning. My goal: 130. For reference, my biggest weight while pregnant was 180. Ouch. I'm not pregnant right now.

I'm finding that at 35 years old I'm having a much harder time losing weight. I've always fluctuated around but this is pretty much the heaviest (non pregnant) I've ever been. When I graduated high school in '92 I was between 115 and 120. I would LOVE to get back down to 120 or 125 but I doubt I'll ever see that again.

I hate, hate, hate exercising! Plus my husband and kids usually have ice cream and chips in the house. It doesn't help that we live near Culvers either.

At any rate, I went for a mile walk this morning and am going to try and make sure I do again this afternoon. I got 3 lb. hand weights for Mother's Day and have a routine with those that I'm planning on doing daily.

I'm really hoping that by holding myself accountable on this blog, that I'll help me to loose the weight.

Oh, I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought some great fruit and veggies. Had cherries for my breakfast/morning snack and have raw broccoli, carrots and pea pods for afternoon snack. I'm feeling pretty good right now.
